King Charles delivered the Liberal government’s Throne Speech by saying Canada faces “unprecedented powers”. It was in reference to changing relationships with key allies and trading partners. The speech also laid out plans that Canada will join ReArm Europe which is a defence procurement plan to grow production of military equipment and arms in Europe. The move would mean Canada would not have to depend as much on the States for military equipment.
