The union representing about 800 Nova Scotia Power workers say it will be filing a 48-hour strike notice today. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1928 said its members voted against a second tentative agreement with Nova Scotia Power on Friday. Once the Labour Board acknowledges it has received the notice the clock ticks down to a strike. The union says it will continue to negotiate with Nova Scotia Power during the process.
