Government funding is now available to the seafood industry, sportfishing organizations and community groups for ocean and shoreline cleanup projects. Funding is available throughout the province through the Marine Debris Clean-Up Program. Application for litter prevention projects and marine debris recycling projects are open until the end of the month. Applications for shoreline cleanup will be open until February 1st.
