There’s been a change to when River Ridge Common will be closed for pesticide treatment. The park will be closed starting Thursday and will reopen on Saturday. This treatment is part of ongoing efforts to protect hemlock trees from hemlock woolly adelgid. Residents are reminded not to enter the treatment areas during application or within 24 hours after treatment is complete; children and pets should remain outside closed areas until the park has reopened. Signs and barriers will be in place.
