A Nova Scotia couple were floored when they received a letter from Alabama with enough money to cover a mistaken takeout order. Darcy and Laura Clarke run Bentley’s Burgers and Fries in West Chezzetcook, N.S. According to CBC News, the letter, unsigned and handwritten, contained 40 dollars and an apology for a wrong number. Apparently, the Alabamian meant to call a restaurant of the same name in his home state but called Clarke's restaurant instead. The 40 bucks more than covered the cost of the two cheeseburgers and fries, so the couple will use the rest to cover ice cream for kids who come to their shop in the summer.
