Lunenburg Town Council has deferred a decision on the proposed Noise bylaw to allow staff time to explore additional options. One of the sticking points is related to continuous mechanical noise, such as HVAC units and exhaust fans. The decision follows a public hearing and detailed discussion, where concerns were raised that the current draft does not go far enough in addressing it. Staff will present revised options at a future meeting.
