Families, friends, organizations and members of the community are being invited to honour lives lost at sea. The 2026 Fishers’ Memorial Service Roll of Honour will include names of those whose lives were lost in years ending in “6”. People who wish to honour a loved one are encouraged to take part in the placing of the wreaths at the Fishermens’ Memorial. Wreaths can be purchased from local florists who can arrange for delivery or you can reach out to the town for help. The 2026 Lunenburg Fishers' Memorial Service will take place Sunday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m.
