A man and a woman face attempted murder charges after an assault on Paq’tnkek First nation. RCMP say a 38-year-old woman approached a 50-year-old woman with a knife last Thursday. After a struggle the intended victim got hold of the knife and stabbed the other woman, when another woman got control of the knife and hit the 50-year-old with a blunt object. A man then shot the 50-year-old. Both women were treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
