Just hours after the union representing about 800 Nova Scotia Power workers issued a strike notice, the company has come back with an enhanced offer. The new offer includes a $1,000 signing bonus for regular and eligible pool employees who have worked since April 1, 2026. The rest of the contract offer stays the same. The employees have until Friday to vote on the new offer.
