Naturopathic doctors are now officially regulated in Nova Scotia, although the province has not yet finalized what medical services they will be allowed to provide. The practitioners, who combine modern medical science with natural therapies, became the 22nd health profession licensed under Nova Scotia’s Regulated Health Professions Act. Health Minister Michelle Thompson says more work is still needed before the regulations are fully implemented.
