The Maritime provinces and the federal government are exploring whether a regional approach to supplying electricity is viable. Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island have signed a memorandum of understanding on whether regional cooperation could improve affordability and strengthen system efficiency. Natural Resources Canada is also a partner.
