Lunenburg Town Council ices Ice Allocation Policy until next meeting

Lunenburg town council will not make a decision on the Ice Allocation Policy until its next meeting in September. At its meeting this week, council reviewed the policy and recommended the draft policy revise definitions, saying it is important that the policy contains clear language and that no groups have the perception of being excluded. The draft policy outlines how ice time would be prioritized, establishes guiding principles for allocating ice, and includes a framework to help staff make fair and consistent decisions when competing requests exceed available ice time.
