The province is investing $4.5 million for more early learning and child care spaces in Lunenburg. The Lunenburg Day Care Centre will expand, creating another 77 child care spaces. Lunenburg MLA Susan Corkum-Greek says the money will help the Lunenburg Day Care Centre build on its foundation as a valued part of the community since 1973. The expanded day care on Lincoln Street is expected to be open in July 2027.
