Everyone is invited to a Saturday afternoon celebration in Lunenburg. It’s in honour of the 50th anniversary of Canada’s signing of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention and the 30th anniversary of Old Town Lunenburg’s UNESCO World Heritage designation. The celebration begins at 1:00 and runs until 5:00 with live performances, the much-anticipated reopening of the restored Heritage Bandstand, and other family-friendly activities. Activities will be held on King Street between Lincoln and Cumberland.
