According to the latest Abacus Data poll, support for Premier Tim Houston’s government has dropped 10 points. The poll of more than 600 Nova Scotians comes after the government tabled a deficit budget with substantial cuts to programs, which some he walked back after public pushback. But, the Conservatives still lead with 38 per cent support, followed by the NDP at 31 per cent and the Liberals at 23 per cent support. Affordability tops the list of concerns with eight of ten respondents placing it first among the top three issues, with healthcare and housing affordability tied for second.
