Amid all the economic turmoil in Canada and globally, good news for drivers this morning. The Nova Scotia Energy Board is using its “Interrupter Clause” to drop prices at the pumps based on economic factors, which allows the board to adjust prices outside of the regularly scheduled weekly setting. The price of regular gas dropped about 6 cents a litre and diesel nose dived 11.5 cents a litre overnight. It comes after the price of gas dropped more than 17 cents a litre last week after the carbon tax was removed.
