Three federal byelections are being held Monday across Canada. The byelections come as a new poll by the Angus Reid Institute shows three in four Canadians agree with Prime Minister Mark Carney’s decision to walk away from trade negotiations with the U.S. The byelections will be held in Quebec, Ontario and B.C. Carney and the Liberal government still hold a majority with 171 members in the House but six seats are vacant. Monday’s election will fill three, with the remaining three to be filled in upcoming byelections.
