Just in time for gardening season, a compost giveaway is being held on May 9th. From 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. lab-tested compost that can be used for vegetable gardens, flower beds and lawns can be picked up for free at 908 Mullock Road in Whynott’s Settlement. You can fill two feed bags, bring your own containers, or, for a half yard of compost, bring your truck or trailer.
