Grandma is talking about MOOCs, Massive Open Online Courses and all the wonderful free learning opportunities waiting for us online. Because, as Grandma likes to say, learning doesn’t come with an expiry date!
Then it’s into the kitchen for some cheesy potato cakes, because learning is always better when there’s something tasty involved.
In Craft Corner, Grandma grabs a few leaves and shows how one simple leaf can turn into all kinds of creative projects. No fancy supplies required—just a little imagination and whatever you can find outside.
There are also some Lunenburg County Pride notices, including the Silent Book Club, the Lunenburg County Pride AGM, and then an address or a performance by a group called Unity’s dance and titled I will. Grandma believes community is something we build by showing up, so come out, say hello, and bring a friend!
And before Grandma lets you go, there’s this week’s homework. Don’t worry—it doesn’t involve algebra. Grandma promises!
So pull up a chair, grab a snack, and spend a little time with Grandma. There’s always room at her kitchen table, and you might just learn something while you’re there.
