Novacast Media’s goal is to support not-for-profits and charities. We also believe in fairness across the board for those who aim to reach out to our audience through airtime. In some cases, it is the law or policy of the CRTC. As such, we have developed some policy guidelines to help treat people equally.

For special status:

• Organization must have a genuine connection to Lunenburg County (staff, volunteers, services here)
• Organization must not fall under lobbying/political purpose
• Those who are truly pure charitable causes should be focus. Cause must not take a controversial position. (Ex: Pro or con positions on MAID, abortion, drug use, crime/prisons, etc)
